Driving Energy Resilience through Technology, Collaboration and Industrial Scale

The global energy system is entering a decisive decade. Rising electricity demand, geopolitical uncertainty and accelerating decarbonisation are reshaping how energy is produced, traded and deployed. Around the world, governments and industry are prioritising energy resilience – building systems that are secure, flexible and capable of supporting long-term economic growth.

At the centre of this transformation is China. As the world’s largest energy producer, consumer and investor in clean energy, the country is scaling new power systems, advanced manufacturing and low-carbon technologies at unprecedented speed. Under the priorities of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), China is strengthening energy resilience by expanding LNG and natural gas supply, accelerating electrification and renewable deployment, advancing hydrogen and carbon management, and scaling digitalisation and industrial upgrading – developments that are reshaping global supply chains and technology markets.

Taking place 13–15 January 2027 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, the Beijing Energy Congress will convene global energy leaders, policymakers, investors and technology innovators to examine how the next generation of energy systems will be built, financed and deployed. Alongside a high-level strategic conference, a world-class exhibition will showcase cutting-edge technologies and scalable solutions across the energy value chain.

Join the leaders shaping the future of energy resilience in the world’s largest energy market.
